Who We Are
Utthan is a mother’s heart for Manodivyanga (specially-abled) children, where every child finds love, care, and dignity.
Utthan is a nurturing initiative dedicated to Manodivyanga (specially-abled) children, created to give them not only a home but also a future of dignity and independence. Founded with the philosophy of a mother’s heart, Utthan provides a safe and loving environment where children bloom with confidence, learn life-skills, and celebrate life with joy.
With a focus on care, education, and empowerment, Utthan combines compassion with action. Children here are trained in skills like diya making, paper bag crafting, embroidery, stitching, jewellery, and festive hampers – transforming creativity into confidence. Beyond skill-building, Utthan ensures every child experiences belonging, inclusion, and happiness.
As a growing family for children with special needs, Utthan continues to expand its impact, creating a space where every child “ખીલે છે, ખુલે છે, રમે છે” – they bloom, they open up, and they play.
When every individual blossoms with dignity, confidence, and freedom.
Utthan is a mother’s heart for Manodivyanga (specially-abled) children, where every child finds love, care, and dignity.
We provide a safe home and teach life-skills like diya making, stitching, jewellery, and more. empowering children to shine with confidence.
Specially-abled children who need shelter, support, and skills to live with independence and joy.
We are connected to Utthan by heart, because getting to know the heart of Utthan is more important to me than getting to know its work or name. It is a human heart and today the world needs to be explored. In that lap, children flourish, open up and play. Such a beautiful upbringing is not an institution. I believe that family is and family spirit is the most important thing in the world today and innocent children are the form of God.
